In 1926, after working as a car mechanic, Jacques Caleyron set up his own toolmaking business.
1933
In 1933, he founded the only circular saw blade manufacturing workshop in Auvergne - Rhône-Alpes, located in Aurec-sur-Loire, and became a pioneer in this field.
1943
In 1943, his three sons took over the company until 1995.
1987
The grandchildren, Serge and Dominique, then bought the company's shares from their uncles and their father.
1995
In 1995, the company made its debut by participating in an industrial trade fair in Germany, marking its entry into the European market.
This initiative was the start of strong links with Germany, a key market that remains of great importance to the company to this day.
2001
In 2001, Serge, together with his wife, purchased all the company's shares and decided to give the business a new direction. Aware of the changing market needs, the company expanded its product range by developing new metal cutting technologies and incorporating new products into their cutting tool manufacturing program. Today, the company offers a wide range of standard and specialized tools.
Caleyron Industries expanded its machinery and integrated several CNC machines into its facilities.
2010
In 2010, after years of growth in the French market, Caleyron Industries decided to expand its client portfolio internationally. Today, more than 30 countries are regularly supplied, including Germany, India, Tunisia, Poland, Spain, and Switzerland...
2018
In December 2018, Caleyron Industries was awarded the NF EN ISO 9001:2015 certification by BCS for the "Manufacturing of Mechanical Tools," for their compliance in the field of Supply Chain Management.
2023/2024
The great-granddaughters of the founder; Amélie Caleyron, who holds a Master's degree in business law, and Alizée Caleyron, who graduated from Kedge Business School, Paris with a Master's degree in MAI (international purchasing management and innovation), joined the company alongside their father, Serge.
